We started this program with the DNR in 1980 then continued the program with Goose Busters. To date we have trapped 2451 geese. We didn’t start the egg program until 1998 but since then we have collected 2054 eggs for a total number of 4505. A great job by a lot of people over the past 31 years. A special thanks to the City of Sylvan Lake and the Sylvan Otter lakes Association for their financial support and to Al Payson who has coordinated this effort to clean up the beaches, lakes and yards.
